Mexico

It's hard to document since we take so few pictures when the kids aren't around, but it's true... Drew and I went to Mexico in March!

We went to the Excellence Playa Mujeres resort and it was all it was cracked up to be and more.  I recognize that at some point in our future lives we may want to go somewhere and do or see something, but right now, we want to go somewhere (or nowhere) and see nothing and do nothing.

And that's exactly what we did in Mexico.  We were only there for four days and three nights, but we made the MOST of it!  We planned our meal itinerary in advance and we pretty much just slept when we felt like it, ate when we felt like it, slept some more and ate some more.  We also sat on the beach when we felt like it and slept and ate there too.  The service was unbelievable and they would bring us food or drink wherever we were whenever we wanted.  Amazing.

Also one time Drew played chess with a Canadian who we befriended, just because we felt like it.

It was glorious and we can't wait to return one day!

I'm a better mom when we have breaks, and I'm so thankful for the wonderful grandparents we have that allow us to take those breaks and spend sweet time with the kids.  But after this break, we sure were happy to see these sweet faces again!
