Spring sprung and one whole hand

We were so happy to see spring arrive, but still spent a good amount of time at home as the days changed from cold. to chilly and rainy, to occasionally warm!

Rocking and dancing
March could be a bummer of a month for me, because I'm ready for longer, sunnier days, but they only come sporadically.  I'm so thankful that this girl's birthday (shared with her Pops!) gives us all something to look forward to and celebrate!

FIVE YEAR OLD!!!
Charli got to celebrate with family AND have an art party with her friends. She is sociable to the core, but she loves having a small group of her favorite people gathered much more than a large group.

We painted canvases, decorated pizza "paint palettes," did several sticker/color/glue crafts, ate cupcakes...

...and of course ended the party dressing up as princesses, because what else would be an appropriate way to end your 5th birthday party?

We are beyond thankful for this oldest child of ours. She continues to be a delight- full of personality, energy and love. She is a natural leader, caring and nurturing, and full of enthusiasm for life.

We love you, Charli!  Happy 5th birthday!
