I know that we had lots of cold weather!
But every week or two we got a 60 degree day to give us hope and let us get outside.
We tried to get out and enjoy the days...
But the reality is that the cold weather and short days had us all feeling a bit miserable at times.
The days have run together a little bit, but I do know that February days have involved listening to a LOT of Charli's favorite CD (the flavor of the month was Mr. Eric), building "high towers" with legos, picking up legos, dumping them out again, and picking them up again. Sam has spent a lot of time drumming and playing air guitar, and Charli has spent a lot of time mothering her two little brothers and making sure the house runs according to schedule. Benjamin has spent a lot of time smiling. Drew has spent a lot of time... can you guess?... reading. Between two different weekends devoted to Young Life/Young Lives in addition to typical Young Lives responsibilities, I've spent a lot of time being a Young Life staffer this month. But all-in-all, it's been a good month, and I've commented to Drew several times how WELL I'm doing considering the fact that I always go a bit stir crazy this time of year. Loved the little moments and times that passed in February... and still glad to see March!
Highlights from this month: Benjamin was baptized on Feb 10th! There are some others, but they pale in comparison to that one, so I'll just leave it at that.
Even though this is my February post, it's actually March 1st today. Benjamin turned 6 months old today. His first tooth popped through today. He slept all the way through the night last night for the 2nd time since he was born! He sort of started saying DaDa today. March is already a good month!
