Samuel Howes Martin

Having two babies has indeed changed life.  Although it is no secret that I would not have blogged well before two babies, blogging afterwards has been more or less out of the question.  But, I just got an unbelievable new camera with my many-months-accrued "fun money" (shopping is also out of the question most months these days), so I thought I would give it one more shot. 

Charli got at least a bit of coverage after her birth and, while both babies will surely get plenty of coverage from now on (if I ever blog again, that is), I thought it would be good to introduce Sam with his own post.

Born July 21, 2010 at 5:30 am- about 28 hours after labor commenced.

"Little" Sam was born four weeks early, but still 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 inches long. 

I would be lying if I didn't say that he has given Charli a run for her "sweetest baby" title- at 6 months he is 20 lbs., and we call him a 20 lb. bag of sugar.  He is relaxed, fun, and full of the sweetest giggles and kisses you could imagine.  Sam, we are so glad that you are part of our family!
